Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows CF2

ISSUES FIXED:

·         (197040, 196570, 199047, 205890, 201338, 213649) We have fixed bugs causing Kaspersky Endpoint Security to crash.

CHANGES:

·         (196740) It is now possible to display the scan task progress window when the task is launched from the context menu of Microsoft Explorer and the Kaspersky Security Center policy prohibits showing the local interface of the application.

·         (214204) It is now possible to disable the notification "Previous application startup failed".

·         (216478) Email notifications about Kaspersky Endpoint Security events do not work if the user name and password are specified in the email notification delivery settings, but the SMTP server used for delivering notifications does not require authorization.

IMPROVEMENTS:

·         (184471, 189753) The Application Startup Control component now works faster.

·         (199645) Delivery of email notifications about Kaspersky Endpoint Security events has been optimized.

 

KNOWN ISSUES:

·         The following non-public patches have not been included in the release of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows CF2: PF18, PF46, PF49, PF55, PF58, PF59, PF62, PF63, PF65, PF66, PF71, PF72, PF74, PF83. The patches will be re-released after the release of Kaspersky Endpoint Security 8 for Windows CF2.  Please contact the support service if you need these patches.

·         The event "Quit and reopen the application to complete updating" is not logged in reports after downloading updates that require restarting the service part of the product. In this case, product status changes to "It is required to quit and restart KES".

·         (216946) The Web Control component does not block streaming video when it is transmitted via certain protocols.
